Guidelines for The Realm of Oded Fehr
1. We welcome any author that wishes to post on our site. Of course as with any site we do need to lay down a few ground rules.
2. This site mainly has Adult-rated stories, we will except lower rated stories and will make a separate section for them if we feel they are appropriate to the theme of our site. If we feel a story doesn't fit the rating you've given it, we reserve the right to change your rating.*New rating system!*
GA: General Audiences: this means your story can be read by anyone of any age.
SAC13+: Slight Adult Content: this rating will replace the former use of PG13 ratings.
MA18+: Mature adult content: This will replace the former R rating.
EAC: Extreme Adult Content: This will be placed on any story we feel exceeds any other rating.
3. Stories containing same sex scenarios, or group sex, use of sexual toys, S&M or heavy bondage will be considered but not all will be posted to this site. Slash and other hardcore material will NOT be posted on this website. If you wish to submit such material you can do so here: Behind the Veil Message Board However, we reserve the right to reject any story we deem as inappropriate for any reason.
4. Also as to not offend if we feel the subject of yours may be of a sensitive nature, ie, rape, domestic violence or along those lines, we would like a warning on the story advising our readers. If we feel a warning is warranted and one is not on there we will add one to it.5. This site is dedicated to writing inspired by Mr. Fehr and the characters he's played although you do not have to write specifically about them. We will accept original characters, but we ask they resemble him in appearance.
6. We will accept stories about Mr. Fehr himself however, we reserve the right to reject any story that we feel would embarrass, or in other ways be detrimental to Mr. Fehr or his family. *We will NOT accept stories that portray Oded or any of his characters committing an act of rape or other forced sexual acts!*
7. If you want a picture included with your story we will have a selection here to choose from. We would like to involve you in the choice whenever possible. If you have a picture you wish to submit, please make sure you have permission from the site or person who made the picture. If you are unable to get permission we will find you an alternative.
8. We will post submissions made only by those of legal age. If we feel that we need proof of age from an author then said proof must be given to us. If proof is not given then the story submitted shall not be posted.9.Deadline for submissions. As of now submission deadlines will be as follows:
For Midweek updates the will be posted on Tuesday night. All submissions must be received by midnight CST or they will be held over until the weekend.
For weekend submissions: Weekend submission can go up on Friday night depending on the volume of submissions. All submissions for the weekend must be received by midnight CST on Saturday night at the latest or will be held over.
10. I ask that all submissions be in .doc form if possible. If I have trouble with your submission you will be notified. In addition, I will not Beta your submissions, ie, grammar, spelling. If the errors are however too numerous to be ignored the submission will be returned to you to correct before it can be posted on the site.
12. All stories must have a disclaimer attached with them. If there is no disclaimer then one shall be posted with the story by the site owners.
13. Stories that are submitted by chapters/sections need to be clearly marked as to which story it is and which chapter/section it is to that story.
Plagiarism and how it will be dealt with:
1) If you feel your work has been plagiarized, DO NOT contact the author yourself. Please contact us first by email and register the complaint to me.
2) Email me the title, and author of the story you think has been plagiarized from you along with a dated copy of your original story for comparison. (Dated meaning I must have proof when your story was created and/or posted) I must ask you send me the complete story in tact if possible. If you can not email it due to size arrangements can be made to mail me a disk of it with the areas clearly marked in red that you feel have been taken from you.
**All disks will be returned**
3) Once this information is received the other owners and myself will compare said stories as a group to see if indeed an infraction has been made.
4) If we feel the comparisons between the stories are strong enough I will contact the author in question asking for a copy of their story as well as any proof they might have as to when it was created.
5) If upon review we decide no offence has happened and no action needs to be taken you will be informed. However, if we feel you have wrongly been plagiarized said offending story will be removed from the site and said author will either be placed on probation, or banned from submitting further work depending on degree of the offense. **Banning from the community may also be enforced**
6) We ask that such matters be handled this way to ensure privacy and to protect both the authors and the readers. We wish to keep such accusations off the board in order to not prejudice our members especially if the accused is innocent of what has been claimed.
7) Anyone making unproven accusations on the board and specifically naming names will be banned from the community. To do so will be considered flaming and will not be tolerated on this board.
*These are the rules we have come up with for our site. These rules are not here to intimidate but to inform that this is a subject that will be dealt with swiftly and severely if brought to our attention.
*This board is supposed to be about fun, and fellowship among the fans of Oded Fehr and these rules were designed to ensure that this board remains a fun and friendly environment.
